You'll co-lead rock climbing programs for youth campers, teaching safety and technical skills while supporting other outdoor activities. 🎯 What You'll Do
- Lead rock climbing programs with a co-instructor for groups of campers.
- Set top ropes and releasable rappels without supervision.
- Manage gear inventory, inspection, and maintenance.
- Ensure risk management and teach campers safe recreation practices.
📋 Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Personal or professional climbing experience required, with skills in trad climbing, anchors, top rope, knots, and rappels.
- Minimum Basic First Aid, CPR, and Mandatory Reporter certification by start of camp.
- For driver roles: at least 20 years old with a valid driver's license and clean record.
✨ Nice to Have
- 1+ years experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting.
- Single Pitch Instructor (SPI) certification.
- Wilderness First Responder or EMT certification.
