💼 About This Role

You'll be Every's first dedicated credit hire, reviewing inbound charge card applications and building a credit program that scales. You'll work directly with leadership to sharpen underwriting criteria and manage portfolio risk. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape a credit function from 0 to 1 at a rapidly growing Series A startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review inbound charge card applications and make approve/decline recommendations
• Handle manual reviews for edge cases and higher-limit applications
• Analyze repayment data to spot patterns and recommend adjustments
• Partner with product and engineering on credit tooling and dashboards

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in credit analysis, underwriting, or credit risk at a fintech, bank, or credit union
• Hands-on experience reviewing and decisioning corporate charge card applications
• Familiarity with business credit products: charge cards, revolving credit, or business loans
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a charge card issuer (Brex, Ramp, Divvy, Capital One, Amex)
• Exposure to credit scoring model development or scorecards
• Familiarity with Plaid or bank data providers used for cash flow underwriting
