π― What You'll Do
- Develop and implement radiation safety policies and procedures
- Serve as technical SME for radiological safety and dose assessments
- Support waste treatment operations by evaluating radiological waste profiles
- Conduct radiological audits, surveys, and sampling activities
π Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiological Health, or related field
- 4-7 years of professional experience in health physics or radiation safety
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection regulations and compliance standards
- Hands-on experience with radiation protection instrumentation and radiological surveys
β¨ Nice to Have
- Certified Health Physicist (CHP) certification
- NRRPT certification or DOT Class 7 shipper qualification
- Experience with radiation modeling software (RESRAD, MCNP, etc.)
