💼 About This Role

You'll own the financial model, run budgeting and forecasting cycles, and turn data into narratives for board and investor decisions. As the analytical engine behind capital planning and fundraising, you'll partner with business leaders to drive financial discipline across the company. This hybrid Strategic Finance and FP&A role offers direct impact at a high-growth defense technology startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial model and long-range plan.
• Lead annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly variance analysis.
• Drive financial story for board decks, investor updates, and executive reviews.
• Partner with business leaders to model contract economics and capital allocation.
• Stand up ERP, planning tools, KPI dashboards, and data infrastructure for scaling.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive finance experience in investment banking, PE, consulting, or high-growth FP&A.
• Best-in-class financial modeling skills including integrated three-statement models and driver-based forecasting.
• Strong command of FP&A fundamentals: budget cycles, forecast accuracy, variance analysis.
• Direct involvement in venture fundraising with building investor materials and supporting diligence.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a high-growth defense, aerospace, hardware, or dual-use technology company.
• Familiarity with DCAA audits or FAR indirect rate structures.
• Track record of building finance processes from scratch at an early-stage startup.
