Description

In this role, you will develop modern C++ backend systems for vehicle telemetry, state management, and real-time communication, designing low-latency, high-reliability protocols and safety-critical workflows for autonomous middle-mile logistics.

Requirements

• Master's degree in robotics, computer engineering, or related field with 5+ years experience, or Bachelor's with 7+ years in autonomous systems or embedded software
• Strong proficiency in modern C++
• Experience with low-latency, high-reliability distributed systems
• Knowledge of safety-critical workflows and real-time communication protocols
• Familiarity with on-vehicle testing and functional analysis

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end software in modern C++ for vehicle telemetry, communications, and system state management
• Architect low-latency, high-reliability communication protocols for real-time data exchange across distributed systems
• Develop intuitive and safety-critical user workflows for reliable vehicle state transitions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with autonomy, platform, safety, and operations teams
• Perform metric analysis and performance optimization in a highly concurrent software stack
