You'll collaborate with development and test engineers to build and evaluate innovative optical systems for airborne, maritime, and space platforms. You will own the rapid prototyping process, fabricating high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies from start to finish. ๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Build and test new optical systems for airborne, maritime, and space platforms
  • Fabricate high quality, high reliability electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Develop integration and test fixtures; set up test equipment and report results
  • Own internal prototyping resources and manage R&D space

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a technician on complex electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to work through R&D tasks with limited oversight
  • Experience building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with alignment and characterization of optical systems
  • Experience with 3D printing for prototyping
  • Familiarity with Solidworks, Altium, and scripting languages (Matlab, Python, Labview)
