Description

You will lead data science efforts for Roblox's Discovery Experiences, developing ML solutions and foundational frameworks to scale hypothesis generation and improve user engagement touchpoints. You'll partner with product and engineering leaders to drive innovation via insights, causal inference, and ML prototypes, and design experiments for new features.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree/PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Math, Economics or related fields
• 10+ years of industry experience in data science, economics, analytics, or ML engineering
• 7+ years using Python, R, SQL, Hive, Spark, Airflow
• Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning
• Experience developing large-scale recommendation systems, preferably with user-generated content

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational solutions to scale hypothesis generation across key user engagement touchpoints
• Contribute to development of ML solutions for discovery canvases
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to drive innovations in discovery experiences using insights, frameworks, causal inference, and ML prototypes
• Leverage causal inference to measure effectiveness of various initiatives
• Design and implement experiments for new features and communicate results to non-technical audiences
