Description

You will perform rapid evaluation of engineering concepts, manage vendor relationships, and design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems for early-stage prototypes in defense technology.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical and/or electrical design experience
• CAD skills and ability to produce high quality engineering drawings
• Experience in PCB design with ECAD tools (Altium, KiCAD, etc.)
• High competence with engineering first principles
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

Responsibilities

• Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across multiple fields
• Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of engineering problems
• Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems
• Lead design reviews, run analysis, and define hardware test plans
• Build and test prototypes, analyze failures, and transition projects to production
