Description

You will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in the Colchester, Vermont region. This role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing generator systems, performing performance checks, and responding to power alarms. You'll work independently and travel locally.

Requirements

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred
• Minimum one year work experience with generator and electrical maintenance
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, stand for long periods
• Must be willing to drive long distances and work varied hours including on-call

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems
• Installing and replacing components or entire systems
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance
• Responding promptly to Power/Generator alarms
• Performing work with safety awareness and using safety equipment
