You'll build tooling and automation to monitor the health of Upstart's production systems and drive reliability improvements. Your work will directly impact the success of the SRE team and all of Upstart.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement monitoring standards for microservices, databases, and Kubernetes clusters
• Improve incident response practices across the company
• Automate away toil through tooling and automation

📋 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years combined experience in Software Engineering, SRE, or DevOps
• Proficiency coding Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, Cloudformation)
• Experience with on-call and incident management environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with service mesh
• Full Stack development skills
• Experience leveraging LLM/GenAI to improve SRE efficiency
