You'll develop kinetic Monte Carlo models of gas phase deposition and run simulations to understand precursor effects on surface properties. You'll model gas-phase and surface chemical reaction kinetics using ab initio approaches and set up computational workflows on HPC clusters.

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
• Programming experience, especially with Python
• Experience running simulations on a Linux HPC cluster
• Strong analytical and technical skills

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with kinetic Monte Carlo or related models of surface growth
• Familiarity with ab initio modeling like DFT and NEB and codes like Quantum ESPRESSO and VASP
• Prior experience in a computational laboratory and track record of high impact publications
