Description

You will work as a Law Clerk with a path to transition to an Associate Attorney after passing the bar. Under mentorship, you'll assist in family law cases including divorce, custody, and property division, draft legal documents, conduct research, and attend court proceedings.

Requirements

• Expected Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Will sit for the Virginia bar exam
• Able to obtain Virginia law license
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Enthusiasm for family law and domestic litigation

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law cases with mentor support
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on family law
• Attend court hearings and trials, present cases effectively
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff for case management
