💼 About This Role

You'll own the reliability and scalability of core Python web services running on AWS with Kubernetes. Your work ensures rapid shipping and resilience through incidents and traffic spikes. Partner with product engineers to make Python a great place to build.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain production Kubernetes clusters on AWS
• Implement observability and alerting for system and product metrics
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and runtime configuration for Python services
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years in infrastructure/SRE/backend operations roles
• 3+ years running Python web apps in production on AWS
• Experience operating services on Kubernetes with deployment strategies
• Experience with Postgres on RDS including backups and failover

• Developer experience mindset with tooling improvement
• Experience with multi-AZ AWS architectures
• Pragmatic incident response and postmortem experience
