Description

You will lead the development and coordination of behavioral supports and instructional programming at Bullis Charter School, supporting both general education students through MTSS and special education students with individualized interventions. You'll conduct FBAs, develop BIPs, provide coaching to staff, and partner with families to promote positive student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience implementing behavioral-based programming with students in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
  • Preferred: Valid California PPS credential and school-based experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as core member of MTSS supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 behavioral and social-emotional interventions for general education students
  • Consult with teachers to design, implement, and monitor evidence-based classroom and small-group behavioral supports
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Support implementation and monitoring of BIPs in collaboration with staff; provide direct behavioral services for students as outlined in IEPs
  • Provide coaching and professional development to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff on proactive behavior strategies and data-informed decision-making
