Description

You will lead a small team of Senior ML Scientists in applying machine learning and statistical modelling to improve automated decisioning for Monzo's borrowing products. Your work will focus on credit risk modelling, optimising utilisation, pricing, collections, and marketing, driving strategic decisions across multiple products.

Requirements

• Hands-on technical leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk modelling and ML in the credit industry
• Experience with PyData stack, BigQuery SQL, dbt, Google Cloud Platform, AWS
• Proficiency in Python and Go
• Result-oriented with focus on customer and business impact

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team of Senior ML Scientists
• Drive innovations in data and ML applications across borrowing products
• Influence strategic decisions with leaders across Credit Strategy, Products, Model Validation, and Engineers
• Spearhead development of toolings, methodologies, and processes for efficient model building
• Collaborate with modelling teams across Monzo on best practices and latest technologies
