Description

As a Wellness Resident Assistant at Otterbein SeniorLife, you will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while providing compassionate care in a supportive team environment. You'll work under the supervision of a nurse and respond to emergency calls, ensuring residents' well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• First Aid Course certification
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner
• Assist residents with ADLs including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, and dressing
• Provide supervision, cueing, or non-weight-bearing assistance for transfer ambulation
• Roll carts, laundry hampers, and other equipment safely through work and resident areas
• Quickly respond to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse
