Description

As the Product Manager for the Inventory Platform at CarGurus, you will own the roadmap for the core data platform that powers the company's comprehensive view of millions of vehicles. You'll define the data-as-a-product vision, pioneer AI/ML solutions to improve data quality, and build APIs and self-service tools to enable internal product teams to ship features faster. Your work will ensure inventory data is accurate and accessible, driving consumer engagement and dealer decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Product Management experience in platform, data, or automotive product settings
• Systems thinker with ability to understand how data cascades through the ecosystem
• Working understanding or deep curiosity of LLMs and ML models for data processing
• Internal customer obsession and ability to translate complex data architecture
• Clear communication skills and analytical rigor for data-driven decisions

Responsibilities

• Define the Data-as-a-Product vision and own the roadmap for the core inventory platform
• Pioneer AI/ML solutions to improve data normalization, extract hidden features, and predict missing attributes
• Build APIs, schemas, and self-service tools that enable internal product teams to ship features quickly
• Ensure data reliability to power high-stakes dealer products and build trust
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to address evolving needs
