Description
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist at Charlie Health, you will provide immediate screening, de-escalation, and safety planning for clients experiencing acute mental health crises. You will collaborate with the clinical team to develop intervention plans, monitor crisis queues, and connect clients with appropriate resources, helping ensure continuity of care and prevent hospitalizations.
Requirements
- Reside and be licensed in Oregon
- Independently licensed clinician
- Previous crisis experience preferred
- Ability to work minimum 12 hours per week
- Familiarity with Gmail, Slack, Dropbox, Zoom, EMR
Responsibilities
- Monitor crisis queues for clients in therapy sessions
- Respond to inbound crisis calls with risk assessment and de-escalation
- Screen risk and collaborate on stabilization planning
- Complete required documentation per compliance standards
- Serve as key point of contact for crisis triage during group sessions
