Description
You will support Acadia's commercial field teams within the Neuroscience franchise with strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to drive performance and identify opportunities. You'll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to shape commercial decisions in a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Life Sciences or related field
- 6+ years of experience in analytics or business insights within pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with pharmaceutical data sets
- Advance Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau
- Working knowledge of sales operations, field force structure, marketing operations and/or commercial models in pharmaceuticals
- Strong communication with ability to translate data into actionable business insights
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient Services
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM and analytics tools
- Experience in specialty or rare disease pharmaceutical markets is strongly desired
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance in healthcare analytics
- Must be able to travel domestically on occasion
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance, promotional effectiveness, and sub-national market trends
- Optimize targeting segmentation (HCPs, IDNs, accounts)
- Align field activity with brand strategy and lifecycle priorities
- Evaluate and refine reach/frequency and HCP engagement models
- Provide insights on territory performance, sales force effectiveness, and targeting optimization
- Collaborate across functions on strategic Omnichannel Campaigns and/or triggers
- Work with large datasets to develop dashboards, KPIs, business reports, and run ad-hoc analysis
- Collaborate with field leadership on sales force deployment activities
- Support Brand Planning and Business Reviews
- Conduct pre/post analysis of field initiatives and local market dynamics
- Maintain data integrity and ensure alignment with compliance standards
- Implement advanced analytics (predictive modeling, next-best-action)
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and reps
