You'll capture compelling video and audio for news, sports, and features at WZZM-TV, a TEGNA ABC station in Grand Rapids. You'll work independently or in a team to create shareable content for television, social media, and mobile. This role offers the chance to shape live storytelling in a dynamic news environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Capture video and audio for news, sports, and features
• Operate ENG truck or IP live unit
• Work solo or in a team on daily assignments
• Attend editorial meetings and suggest story ideas
• Use creative production techniques to enhance stories

📋 Requirements

• 1-3 years of newsroom experience
• Experience in photojournalism and editing
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate news vehicle
• Ability to work flexible schedule and under deadline pressure

✨ Nice to Have

• BA/BS in journalism or related field
• Member of NPPA
• Knowledge of EDIUS or non-linear editing system
