Description

As a Bridge Designer (EIT) on the Railroad Bridge team, you will perform structural analysis and design, develop calculations, and prepare design packages for Class 1, short line, and commuter railroad projects. You'll work collaboratively with project managers and engineers across offices, contributing to innovative rail solutions.

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or related discipline
• EIT certification or able to obtain within one year
• Minimum one year of structural design experience or relevant internship
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and experienced with developing plans and specifications
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design
• Familiarity or proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, or other relevant software
• Ability to assemble a complete design package
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Designing structural elements and details
• Developing task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
• Performing tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
