Description

You will partner with veterinarians and vet techs to deliver exceptional care to pets and pet parents, from scribing during visits to assisting with procedures. This role is for a proactive individual who is efficient, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing quality pet care.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as veterinary assistant or kennel assistant
• Working knowledge of veterinary terminology
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and multitasking ability

Responsibilities

• Scribe for veterinarians during visits
• Support medical team with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and procedures
• Compassionately handle and restrain pets for exams
• Record and report patient symptoms
• Communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients
