💼 About This Role

You'll strengthen peer-to-peer networking across Polygon PoS clients (Bor, Erigon, Heimdall). You'll solve complex stability and connectivity challenges in a distributed systems environment. This role offers ownership of critical network infrastructure at scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and optimize peer-to-peer networking components in clients.
• Analyze network stability and identify peering bottlenecks.
• Investigate incidents and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with internal protocol and infrastructure teams.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in Go (Golang) and networking protocols (TCP/UDP).
• Experience with peer-to-peer networking protocols or low-level infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience on blockchain or decentralized network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Ethereum ecosystem and Polygon PoS architecture.
• Exposure to multiple client implementations and consensus protocols.
