Description

As an NDE Inspector with SpaceX's Starship program, you will perform critical inspections of flight components and production assemblies using advanced nondestructive evaluation methods. You'll interpret and report findings to engineering teams, support technique development, and help certify processes for humanity's interplanetary mission.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• NDE Level II certification in ET, RT, DR, PT, VT, CR, PAUT, UT, UTSW, or MT per ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance
• Operational experience using one of the listed NDE methods for weldments preferred
• 2+ years experience as Level II NDE inspector preferred
• Must be physically capable of lifting 25lbs, working at heights, confined spaces, and using air purifying respirator

Responsibilities

• Perform surface and volumetric NDE inspections
• Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams
• Interpret and review engineering drawings as required
• Support development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries
• Support research and development of system qualification and certification for critical processes
