💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Immigration Unit of Manhattan Legal Services, supervising a team of attorneys, paralegals, and a social worker while carrying a limited caseload. Your core impact will be advancing holistic, trauma-informed legal services for low-income immigrants. This role offers the opportunity to shape a community-centered practice focused on equity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Supervise four staff attorneys and two paralegals in immigration cases
• Collaborate with social workers for interdisciplinary client services
• Maintain a limited caseload of federal administrative and court cases
• Assist with grant reports and limited proposal writing

📋 Requirements

• Admitted to New York State Bar
• Five years' experience practicing immigration law
• 1-3 years of experience supervising others
• Experience representing clients before EOIR including motions and merits hearings
