💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians at VEG. You'll engage in patient triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care. This externship offers real-time mentoring and the chance to explore emergency veterinary care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shadow and assist with patient triage and diagnostics.
• Practice skills from your school's proficiency checklist.
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care.

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program.
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills.
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and 40 kg with assistance.
