💼 About This Role

You'll work onsite supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), enhancing backend systems for secure aeronautical navigation. You'll troubleshoot REST APIs, databases, and applications to ensure mission system reliability. This role offers high visibility and direct impact on critical defense operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues involving REST APIs and databases.
• Develop and document backend functionality in GitLab using DevOps practices.
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with planning, standups, and testing via Jira/Confluence.
• Support incident response and system improvements for operational stability.

📋 Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• DoD 8570 compliance (Security+ or higher).
• 3+ years experience in Python and C#/Java frameworks.
• 4+ years with unit testing, CI/CD tools, and GitLab.

✨ Nice to Have

• Linux and/or Windows system administration.
• Familiarity with DoD Aeronautical Datasets.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation and cloud deployments.
