💼 About This Role

You'll build and own the infrastructure powering Topsort's real-time auction engine and API platform. You'll define SLOs, build alerting, and make deployments boring through CI/CD. This role offers direct impact alongside co-founders in a high-growth retail media company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain foundational infrastructure for compute, networking, and deployment.
• Define and enforce SLOs, build alerting systems, and lead postmortems.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems that are reliable and invisible.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Build internal tooling to make engineers faster and more autonomous.

📋 Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure, platform, or SRE.
• Solid hands-on Kubernetes experience in production.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and Terraform.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems (CAP theorem, eventual consistency, failure modes).

• Experience in high-throughput, low-latency systems (ad tech, fintech, real-time bidding).
• Familiarity with service mesh, eBPF, or advanced Kubernetes networking.
• Experience with database infrastructure and data streaming.
