Description

As a Platform Engineer, you'll build and maintain the infrastructure and tools that empower Monzo's engineering teams. You'll work across Kubernetes clusters, service mesh, and cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, helping scale from 10 to 20 million customers and expand product offerings globally.

Requirements

• Backend engineering or cloud infrastructure expertise
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform
• Software engineering skills to solve infrastructure problems

Responsibilities

• Build and centrally manage cloud infrastructure underpinning Monzo's technology
• Run Kubernetes clusters, service mesh, and networking for all microservices
• Abstract cloud infrastructure complexity for other platform teams
• Integrate and manage open-source tools
• Support Monzo's growth from 10 to 20 million customers and global expansion
