Description

You will lead technical design, implementation, and testing of guidance, navigation, and control systems for the Electron rocket, including mission design, trajectory optimization, and launch operations, ensuring 100% mission success.

Requirements

• Master's or bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field
• Experience developing in C/C++
• Experience developing in Python or MATLAB
• Thorough understanding of rigid/flexible body dynamics, particularly 6DOF rocket dynamics

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership in GNC development and maintenance for Electron and HASTE
• 6DOF simulator design and development
• Launch and HITL operations
• Trajectory optimization/design for launch vehicle orbital missions
• Auto-sequence design, implementation and verification for orbital flight
