💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care while exploring if emergency medicine is your future path. This program offers real-time mentoring and the chance to build a strong foundation in veterinary emergency care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, and inpatient care
• Practice skills from your school's proficiency checklist with mentorship
• Pair with a credentialed veterinary technician for real-time mentoring
• Experience the teamwork and pace of emergency care at VEG

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and lift up to 25 kg
