Description

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll products. You will lead major projects, mentor engineers, and help redesign engineering workflows using autonomous agents.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, verify quality
• Experience with Postgres (or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Actively contribute to product work: provide feedback, suggest solutions
• Maintain good understanding of the team's domain from product and engineering sides
• Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers
• Propose and operationalize agentic workflows end-to-end
