💼 About This Role

You'll drive advanced quality plans for drone assemblies and components at contract manufacturers. You'll resolve manufacturing quality issues through data analysis and drive yield improvement. This role lets you work across teams at Wing, an Alphabet company pioneering drone delivery.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set and execute quality plans for assemblies at contract manufacturers
• Define specification requirements with mechanical and hardware engineering
• Analyze data to identify problems and drive yield improvement
• Audit contract manufacturer processes and drive corrective actions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in quality or reliability engineering managing products from NPI to volume
• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Industrial experience in injection molding, CNC machining, die casting, or PCBA SMT
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, TS16949, or IPC-A-610 standards

✨ Nice to Have

• JMP, Minitab, or Six Sigma experience
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack up
• Expertise in driving continuous quality improvement at vendors
