💼 About This Role

You'll lead insurance operations for a tech-first mortgage servicing platform backed by Andreessen Horowitz. Your core impact is scaling hazard, flood, force-placed, and mortgage insurance processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost discipline. You'll build durable processes and develop leaders in a high-growth environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee hazard, flood, force-placed insurance, loss drafts, and PMI/MIP servicing activities.
• Ensure compliance with investor, insurer, and regulatory requirements (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, FHA, VA, USDA).
• Manage vendor performance, including SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, and escalation protocols.
• Standardize SOPs and controls across insurance functions, partnering with Product and Engineering.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mortgage servicing with deep property insurance and escrow operations expertise.
• Proven leadership managing multi-team, multi-vendor operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of hazard, flood, force-placed insurance, loss drafts, and PMI/MIP requirements.
• Demonstrated success owning audit responses, investor findings, and operational remediation.
