💼 About This Role

You'll architect and evolve Vultr's global cloud networking platform, driving design and implementation of scalable, reliable network services. You'll shape the networking foundation of a $3.5B privately-held cloud infrastructure company. You'll work across cross-functional teams to align networking roadmap with product goals.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical design for next-gen cloud networking components
• Align networking roadmap with product and infrastructure teams
• Drive implementation of control/data plane features and orchestration
• Manage BGP peering, tenant isolation, and network policy enforcement

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in infrastructure, network engineering, or hosting
• Experience with virtual networking (public/private cloud, SDN, VXLAN/EVPN)
• Strong knowledge of BGP, L2/L3 routing, Linux and Kubernetes networking
• Proficiency in Go or Rust with automation and observability experience

✨ Nice to Have

• High-performance networking hardware (Trident4, DPUs) experience
• Cloud provider or hyperscaler background
• Network security or multi-tenant firewall experience
