💼 About This Role

You'll lead and grow a team of 4–6 data scientists building Samba's knowledge graph and identity solutions. Your core impact is translating business challenges into technical roadmaps and cultivating a high-performance culture. This role reports to the VP of Data Science.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 data scientists
• Partner with product, engineering, and analytics to align priorities
• Own delivery execution including sprint planning and blocker removal
• Participate in technical scoping for knowledge graph and identity initiatives

📋 Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on data science experience
• 1-2+ years in a direct people-management or team-lead role
• Strong Python (pandas, NumPy, PySpark, scikit-learn) and SQL
• Databricks or similar platform experience essential

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with knowledge graph construction or ontology design
• Familiarity with entity resolution or identity graph approaches
• Background in media, ad tech, or measurement
