You'll join Bluelight as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure Synapse Analytics and ETL pipelines. You'll build and maintain scalable data solutions for meaningful projects. This remote role offers flexible hours and growth opportunities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Design and optimize data warehouses with star schemas in MPP SQL Pool
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data pipeline reliability

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in ETL data engineering with Python (PySpark)
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics (Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, Key Vault)
• Strong SQL skills (SparkSQL and MS SQL) for data extraction and transformation
