Description
You will provide legal guidance on product offerings and platform features, ensuring compliance with e-commerce, consumer protection, and tech-related laws. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions, support policy updates, and manage regulatory changes.
Requirements
- 5-8 years post-qualification experience, mix of in-house and law firm preferred
- Law degree or Juris Doctor
- Strong commercial outlook and entrepreneurial mindset
- Deep understanding of digital/e-commerce regulations and tech law
- Experience in common law jurisdictions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal assessments of new products and features
- Update and maintain Terms of Use, policies, and legal documents
- Support product teams with legal insights from ideation to deployment
- Monitor and analyze changes in e-commerce and tech laws
- Draft and negotiate agreements with partners and vendors
