Description

You will lead legal execution for Anthropic's infrastructure transactions, including server rack compute, networking, semiconductor procurement, datacenter leases, construction agreements, and energy procurement. You'll work closely with specialized outside counsel and internal teams to ensure legal work aligns with commercial objectives and compute strategy.

Requirements

• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 8-12+ years of relevant legal experience with cloud-hardware, semiconductor, networking, datacenter construction, or real-estate
• Fluency in commercial real estate and construction contracting, datacenter lease structures
• Experience with EPC, AIA, and design-build arrangements at scale
• Ability to coordinate effectively with specialized outside counsel while maintaining strategic direction

Responsibilities

• Negotiate strategic agreements with key technology partners
• Structure and negotiate hardware development, capacity reservation, power purchase, and utility interconnection agreements
• Coordinate construction agreements including design-build contracts, equipment procurement, and commissioning schedules
• Manage legal workstreams with outside counsel to align with commercial objectives
• Collaborate with Compute team transaction managers and finance/corporate development on deal structuring
