Description

You will provide technical expertise and implement environmental, health, and safety programs for the construction of Cape Canaveral's Starship spaceport infrastructure, working closely with launch engineers and technician teams to ensure safe execution of hazardous operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines
• Knowledge of process safety management and chemical delivery systems (preferred)
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) (preferred)
• ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT, and other regulations
• Collaborate with leadership on job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies
• Monitor employee exposure to hazards and develop remedial recommendations
• Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Implement safety programs for confined space, fall protection, lock-out/tag-out, radiation, and laser safety
