Join Braze as a Forward-Deployed Data Scientist to partner with customers on implementing AI-powered marketing solutions. You'll collaborate with analytics teams, build data pipelines and APIs, and contribute to product strategy while ensuring customer success through technical expertise.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on data science or ML engineering experience with large-scale data in production
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas) and core ML libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, CatBoost, XGBoost)
• Skilled in SQL and experience with machine learning pipelines and model deployment
• Strong software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, code reviews
• Customer-facing or consulting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer Analytics/BI teams on implementations including use case definition, data integration, pipeline setup, and ML model configuration
• Extend product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components
• Work closely with RL pipeline development team to refine reinforcement learning algorithms
• Contribute to shaping BrazeAI product strategy through customer-facing insights and technical expertise
• Provide ongoing technical expertise to ensure successful adoption and measurable outcomes
