Description

You will design and develop merchandise for SpaceX's online store, including apparel, mission patches, and tech items, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to create products that excite the public about space travel. You'll own the design process from concept to production, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design or artistic field
• 5+ years experience in product, graphic, and merchandise design
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong design portfolio including merchandise and graphic designs
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed, with occasional travel

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design new products using company milestones to inform design strategy
• Design customer gifting items such as mission patches and event-specific gifts
• Own product design from initial concept to production handoff, meeting release deadlines
• Create and maintain tech packs, fit charts, color standards, and fabric specifications
• Assist in developing graphics, typography, and layouts for social, web, and print
