Description

You will perform engineering models, analysis and designs, and coordinate drafting for civil airfield design projects. You'll prepare multiple design projects at once, develop design details, and ensure deliverables meet standards. This role allows you to collaborate with experienced aviation staff and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the aviation group.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• EIT (or desire to obtain PE in the future) preferred
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
• Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks
• May need to perform field inspection and travel to project sites
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detailed and organized individual who thrives in deadline-driven environments

Responsibilities

• Civil airfield design production coordinating with experienced aviation design staff
• Prepare multiple design projects at one time
• Perform complete basic analysis and design
• Develop thorough design details appropriate for the project
• Understand how to properly apply design standards/codes
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
• Begin to take ownership of all deliverables
