Description

As a Senior UX Designer at mx51, you will own end-to-end design across projects, from research and discovery to delivery, working closely with Product Managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to translate complex payments problems into intuitive solutions. You will also actively contribute to evolving the design system for consistency and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/product design with a strong end-to-end portfolio.
• Experience designing for complex, multi-platform products (mobile and web).
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design system principles.
• Background in fintech, payments, POS, banking, or merchant-facing financial services (preferred).
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design across key product areas, balancing user needs with business objectives.
• Plan and conduct research and discovery, synthesising insights into design recommendations, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and external stakeholders across the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system with scalable, accessible components.
• Communicate design decisions effectively to a range of audiences.
