💼 About This Role

You'll own high-speed imaging capability end-to-end for a defense startup building autonomous counter-drone systems. Your core impact is delivering quantitative kinematic data that directly guides engineering decisions, not just producing footage.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and execute high-speed imaging campaigns for mechanism and ballistic analysis
• Configure and operate Photron Fastcam and Phantom high-speed cameras
• Extract kinematic data using motion analysis software
• Design test fixtures, trigger circuits, and lighting setups

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years operating scientific high-speed cameras in test/research
• Quantitative kinematic data extraction from high-speed footage
• Proficiency with PFA or ProAnalyst motion analysis software
• Design and implement external trigger systems for ballistic/mechanical events

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in ballistics or weapons systems test environment
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
• MS in relevant engineering or physics discipline
