Description

You will assign staff according to policies, complete rounds to assess resident care, communicate with the Director of Nursing, and manage staff. Empower staff by promoting responsibility and autonomy while ensuring standards of patient care are met.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state
• 3-5 years long-term care or similar nursing experience
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and transfer residents weighing 200+ lbs with assistance
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Assign staff and ensure equal distribution of duties
• Complete rounds to assess residents and care
• Receive and provide shift reports to Director of Nursing
• Manage staff, including discipline and empowerment
• Document care plans and communicate with Charge Nurses
