You will perform structural analysis, design validation, and testing for spacecraft and components. Your work supports missions to the Moon and Mars, national security, and scientific exploration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• Engineering experience in aerospace industry
• Experience with NX Nastran, NX CAD, and Teamcenter

Responsibilities

• Define, process, and interpret static and dynamic ground test flight data
• Perform structural analysis of primary and secondary vehicle structures
• Perform structural and dynamic simulations (static, modal, random vibration, buckling, thermoelastic)
• Work with design and test engineers to iterate concepts and verify margins
• Lead technical projects and establish best practices
