💼 About This Role

You'll design and operate production-grade data pipeline systems powering machine learning and experimentation across Unity's massive ads ecosystem. Your core impact is transforming high-volume event data into curated feature datasets used for bidding, attribution, and ranking. This role goes beyond data processing—you'll own the full software lifecycle from architecture to observability.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Design and operate scalable data pipeline systems and feature datasets
  • Own end-to-end offline data flows with correctness and SLA compliance
  • Develop batch and streaming systems (Python/Java/SQL) with focus on performance
  • Build and contribute to the Feature Store platform and online serving layer
  • Translate complex product logic into well-engineered systems

📋 Requirements

  • Deep experience with distributed systems in production
  • Hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline experience using Python, Java, or SQL
  • Experience with Spark or Flink in batch and streaming modes
  • Understanding of offline data systems integration with online serving layers
  • Experience with cloud-native environments and Kubernetes

  • Experience with ML infrastructure or feature stores
  • Background in ads or attribution systems
  • Familiarity with Go for high-throughput serving services
