You'll build and maintain Android applications for MOPO's renewable energy platform, enabling agents to manage battery distribution across Africa. You'll develop offline-first features that work reliably in challenging connectivity environments. This role offers the chance to transform energy access in underserved markets.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop Android features for agent productivity
• Build offline-first functionality for unreliable connectivity
• Integrate with Django/Python backend APIs
• Optimize app performance across a range of Android devices

📋 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java for Android development
• Experience with Android SDK and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP)
• RESTful API integration and handling network connectivity challenges
• Mobile app security best practices and performance optimization

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in offline-first mobile architectures
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy devices
• Experience with mobile payment integrations or fintech applications
