💼 About This Role

You'll own the design and implementation of security guardrails across Saronic's AWS environments, enabling teams to ship fast with security baked in. You'll build reusable Terraform modules and IaC standards for multi-account strategy, network segmentation, and identity architecture. This role impacts defense autonomy at sea for the DoD.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own security architecture for AWS multi-account environments
• Design and enforce IAM patterns with least privilege
• Implement preventive and detective controls via Terraform
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in cloud security engineering or related field
• Expert-level proficiency with Terraform including module design
• Deep expertise in AWS security services like IAM, Organizations, GuardDuty
• Experience with AWS GovCloud or FedRAMP-regulated environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in defense or high-assurance environments
• Hands-on Kubernetes security experience
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or FedRAMP
